The Benchmade Blackwood Skirmish by combining rugged toughness with an attractive design for a knife that you'll be glad to make of your page. I was lucky, a Skirmish Blackwood got my own recently and here are my thoughts:
What I like about the knife:
1. EUR 4.30 cm long, is made of the modified drop point style blade made of S30V steel. S30V steel is great, gives you high-carbon, such as sharpness with the rust and corrosion resistancestainless steel.
2. Benchmade's is one of the strongest Monolock locking up the knife market. It is no surprise that they would use the lock in one of their best folder. When in the locked position, my skirmish has no movement from left to right or up and down.
3. The super-hard titanium handle not only looks cool, but feels good in your hand. Benchmade has grooves that both protect you slide your finger from the blade and to assist in the comprehensive and integratedfeel.
4. Jimping or thumb grooves on the back of the blade will help you cut razor-thin slices, or make a tear through anything in haste.
5. One handed opening should be no problem with the Blackwood Skirmish. Just flick the right and left hand thumb hole and you see your blade flying into the locked position.
What I dislike:
I would like the Blackwood fight with a right-and left-hand pocket clip was available.
Overall:
I recommend the BenchmadeBlackwood Skirmish for anyone who needs a really hard work or utility knife. Combining great steel, block hard, solid grip and flawless attention to detail and you get the Blackwood Skirmish.
